Anna made history by becoming the youngest ever senior international to play for Wales at ten years old, it is believed she is the youngest ever in any sport to play in Wales, took place 30th March 2017.
Anna won 3-0.
Anna Hursey is a 11-year-old table tennis player. Described as an elite player, Anna is a member of the Welsh Table Tennis Association and represents Wales in international play. As a result, Anna is an incredible source of inspiration – and a fantastic athlete sponsorship opportunity.

Anna wins her first senior international
Anna played her first senior international for Wales against Kosovo, on March 30th, at The Sports Center Wales, in Cardiff. Anna won 3-0. Anna selected to represent Europe
After the ETTU - ITTF Hopes selection camp held in Luxembourg,17th-24th April 2017, the evaluation team selected the players for the European team at the ITTF Hopes week & Challenge in Luxembourg August 10th -18th. The evaluation team consists of Li Xiaodong, Xia Cheng, Lu Peng, Martin Ostermann, Nevan Cegnar, had chosen the following players:
1. Anna Hursey Wales 141 points
2. Feyza Demir Turkey 130 points
3. Laura Kaim Germany 129 points
In Strasbourg; August 27th 2017, Anna became European champion for children born 2006 or younger, dropping one set in the competition.
